Well-Fitting, Natural-Looking Dentures

Dr. Joel Benk, Atlanta Dentist, provides well-fitting dentures. For the quality of life you deserve

Correctly placing dentures takes skill and experience. Dr. Benk and his highly-trained staff are both experienced in the placement of dentures and skilled in ensuring that they fit and function perfectly.

If you have lost your teeth or are in danger of losing them, we can help you examine your choices and choose the type of dentures best for your mouth and your lifestyle.

What makes a quality denture?

Many people who wear dentures or partial dentures have difficulties with slipping, eating or sores that all stem from the apparatus being poorly-made or ill-fitting.

At Atlanta Dental Center, we work with a top denture lab to provide high quality full and partial dentures that will fit exactly, will be completely comfortable and without pain and that are stable and will not move around when you eat.

Our full and partial dentures are custom-made using quality materials that look natural and are durable. Dr. Benk ensures that they are the right shape, color and size for a natural look and that the bite (the way your teeth come together) is correct so that you can talk and eat properly.

Aligning the dentures correctly will also give you a more attractive look and prevent premature wrinkles around the lips or at the corners of the mouth.

Dr. Benk can provide you with implants to stabilize your dentures

Where appropriate and needed, Dr. Benk recommends the use of full dental implants to stabilize your dentures. This has the added benefit of deterring bone loss. Loss of bone in your mouth can cause eventual difficulties with wearing dentures, jaw problems and even change the appearance of your face, giving it a sunken look.

Dr. Benk is expert in the crafting and placing of implants, and will ensure that your implants secure your dentures to create the most natural fit and feel possible.

Mini implants consist of a miniature titanium implant that acts like the root of your tooth and an O-ring that is incorporated into the base of your denture. This makes your denture much more stable and prevents it from slipping. The denture will not come out unless you want to remove it.

Mini implants can function as long-term supporting structures. The most effective use of this unique dental product is securing a lower denture. The procedure is simple, and Dr. Benk can place the mini implants here in our office.

Testimonial

"A year ago I was looking for a dentist and happened to find Dr. Benk's magazine while I was in Atlanta on business. After some disappointment with my local dentist in Florida, I decided to give Dr. Benk a try.

"From the first visit I have been very satisfied with the service and quality of work I received. Dr. Benk is gentle and very meticulous. I ended up needing a full-mouth reconstruction, and Dr. Benk literally repaired every one of my teeth so that I can keep them and have a beautiful smile.

In fact, the service was so good, that my husband now also commutes from Florida just to see Dr. Benk."
