Dr. Joel Benk is a graduate of the University of Florida and earned his dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. He then went on to serve on the faculty. He has now been practicing dentistry since 1980 in the Atlanta area.
Dr. Benk is a proud member of multiple dental groups including these: the American Dental Association, Oregon District Dental Society, The Academy of Computerized Dentistry and the Georgia Dental Association. He recently spoke to over eighteen hundred doctors and staff in Las Vegas.
Dr. Benk acts as the on call dentist for the Fox Theater of Atlanta. He routinely sees patients who perform in major plays. He has seen performers from Stomp, Camelot, Lion King and The Phantom of the Opera to name a few. In fact, Dr. Benk has completely restored many performers' smiles to improve their ability to act or sing.
He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is certified by the MISCH International Implant Institute. Both of these groups provide extensive training in implant dentistry.
Dr. Benk is an internationally recognized teacher in the CEREC 3D method, a technology for creating natural and durable ceramic teeth restorations, an author and national lecturer of high tech integration and practice management. He has trained hundreds of dentists on how to achieve outstanding clinical and cosmetic results with ceramic restorations. He has published multiple articles on both practice integration and achieving excellent clinical results using the CEREC 3D.
Lastly, Dr. Benk believes in giving back to his community. He is a sponsor for The Way to Happiness, Drug Free Marshals, and the Concerned Businessman Association of America.
